The expedition collected twelve previously unrecorded melodies and three dances, including a variant of "Bakotochanka" known to only two elders.
The three-day celebration of Podillia dance ended in Kamianets-Podilskyi with a concert at the Territory of Virtuosos, featuring more than fifty ensembles from six regions of Ukraine. Organizers call this year's festival the largest in its history.
Besides concerts, guests took part in master classes on the Podillia goose step, open-air evening parties, and a round table on the digitization of dance folklore. The youngest master class participant was seven years old, the oldest eighty-two.
Next year the organizers plan to invite ensembles from abroad and present a completely updated "Bakota Evening Parties" program.
